Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Devotee Invite handles information through Devotee Invite, our community contact and WhatsApp messaging workspace. It applies to workspace users and people whose information is managed through the service.
1. Information we process
- Account information, including staff names, email addresses, Google account identifiers and assigned roles. Admin authentication also stores an encrypted authenticator secret and protected recovery-code hashes. Legacy password hashes may remain stored, but password sign-in is disabled.
- Contact information supplied by staff, imports or WhatsApp interactions, including names, phone numbers, groups, tags, custom fields and messaging preferences.
- Messages, attachments, conversation notes, templates, campaign details and delivery or read status received from WhatsApp.
- Operational records, including activity logs, connection information and session data used to run and protect the workspace.
2. How information is used
Information is used to manage contacts, send invitations and updates, respond to conversations, honor messaging preferences, provide reports, administer accounts and investigate delivery or security issues. Staff must only provide information they are authorized to process. Avoid including unnecessary sensitive personal information in contact fields, notes or messages.
3. Access and service providers
Authorized workspace staff can access information according to their permissions. Message content, recipient phone numbers and related data are sent to WhatsApp/Meta to provide messaging features. Hosting, storage and other infrastructure providers may process information to operate the service. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to address misuse and protect rights.
Third-party handling is governed by the providers' own terms and privacy information, including WhatsApp's Privacy Policy. Provider processing may take place in countries other than your own.
Google provides sign-in and shares your account identifier, email address and verification information with us. Google handles its sign-in service under the Google Privacy Policy. Google access tokens are not retained by the workspace.
4. Cookies
The workspace uses cookies for sign-in sessions, Google sign-in verification and security. You can control cookies in your browser, but blocking them may prevent signing in or using the workspace.
5. Retention and security
Records are stored in the workspace and its supporting systems. Retention depends on operational needs, administrator practices and applicable obligations; messages and contacts are not automatically deleted simply because a conversation ends. Contact us to request deletion or ask about retention for your information. Some records may need to be retained for security, legal obligations or to honor requests not to receive messages.
The application uses account authentication, role-based access and protected credential storage. No storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.
6. Your choices and requests
You may request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information, or ask us to stop using it for messaging. Contact us using the details below and identify the phone number or account concerned. We may need to verify your identity before acting. Available rights and exceptions depend on applicable law.
To stop receiving WhatsApp messages, tell the sending organization that you wish to opt out. You can also use WhatsApp's block and report controls. Opting out does not by itself delete previously stored records.
